One Day And Counting ....

It’s been a looonnnnggg time since I’ve done this. I’ve kept the excitement of my favorite show (of all times) returning at bay. Now I can no longer do so. Lost is back, baby! We got 48 more episodes to go until the show end for good; but gosh darn it, those last 48 are going to be some of the most exciting stuff around! The only down side is that due to the writers strike, we’re only going to get eight episodes this season, instead of 16. If the writers settle the strike before the end of February, there’s a strong possibility we’ll get the remaining eight.

To get you in the mood for tomorrow’s season premier, tonight @ 9pm (ET), ABC will be airing an ‘enhanced’ version of the last year’s 2-hour season finale.

While season four premiers tomorrow @ 9pm, there will be a recap episode starting @ 8pm. So set those DVRs for 8pm, instead of 9pm. As I did last season, I’ll be providing my commentary of episodes.

Last week I reminded you that you could see all 3 seasons on ABC.com free of charge. If you haven’t or if you need to get caught up, I recommend you do so now. After tomorrow ABC will pull the episodes from their site and you’re only be able to see the episodes from this season. Also available on the site, are recaps and commercials. There’s a neat recap called ‘LOST in 8:15.’ Get it? 815? Any way, it’s ‘everything you ever wanted to know about LOST in 8 mins 15 secs.’ It’s actually kinda cute. In addition, you’ll find LOST Mobisodes; 2-3 min snippets of LOST. Compare it as the extra scenes you get on a DVD. Except these aren’t leftovers, they were specifically made. Initially, they were available for Verizon customers only; but I guess the powers to be decided to share with everyone. Last count there were about 10 available and they really do provide additional information on the characters.

To also help you get caught up, Entertainment Weekly’s LOST fanatic, Doc Jensen has posted an cheat sheet for season four. You can find it here: http://www.ew.com/ew/article/0,,20174762,00.html

So enjoy your day and I so look forward to talking all things LOST very soon. Talk to you soon!!

LOST is Coming .... Are You Ready?

Countdown has begun. Are you ready? Ready to return back to the island? After a long drought, new LOST returns to the airwaves on Thursday, January 31st. To those who know me, know that I have an obsession with the show. Not being a TV person, but, next to Doctor Who and Torchwood, LOST is television at its best.

The finale of Season 3 was mind-blowing. While many figured out that the Jack we were experiencing was in future, I didn’t. Not until I saw the maps on the wall and Jack sitting on the floor despondent. Like others, I’ve picked up Season 3 DVD and watched it over, trying to get acclimated for the show.

I’ve lurked on so many websites and listened to different podcasts; let’s just say it’s refreshing to know I’m not the only one that’s obsessed with the show. Btw, there are some very talented ppl out there.

Now that an end date has been chosen and there’s 48 episodes remaining, I think we’re in for some good storytelling. Let me say this, I never gave up. I believed the writers when they said that they always knew where they were going with the story ….

There are a few things I’m looking forward to seeing this season, like what happened to Michael and Walt after they left the island. Libby Story. What’s with the time travel? What's the secret of the island and why it can' be seen by others. Again, quick questions off the top of my head. I’m sure some won’t be answered until the final season. I’m here for the duration.

Let the season begin …..
